Actually, L2 has one of the larger player communities of any MMO, behind WoW of course but pretty huge especially in Korea.

But I agree with ya, it's the quality of the game that keeps people hooked, not the graphics alone.

And I left L2 because everything else besides the graphics sucked in comparison to GW, so that tells ya something.

I consider myself some a what conservative male with a religous back ground, I find that the whole "anatomical accuracy" or lack there of rather funny. I generally play female characters, why you ask, I'm staring at the character all day might as well make it nice to look at (aka the butt reason).

I don't know what the big deal is myself, we don't have a problem exposing ourselves to graphic and horrific violence, we let children play games where the objective is to commit crimes, but as soon as sex is invloved, "NO!!!!!!!!!! ban the game". A friend suggested this attitude comes from we understand the psycology of violence more than sexuality.

Some where we went from Chastity=Good to Sex=Bad, and it wasn't the Puritans, they once sent a man to the stocks for NOT taking care of his wife's "needs".

To be honest I reaally wasn't payinng attention, I wasn't untill I got to the second mission of the fire islands, before I reallized my ranger had some jigglege going, then it was cool, moving on to killing stuff.

Hint to A-net, get some women devs to make th guys better looking.

What worries me are the armors which show a lot of skin. If I were a warrior, that's exactly where I'd stick my sword, instead of hitting on armor covering 10% of their body. Not to mention arrows. Arrows should stick to characters for added effect. Also add bruise and cuts decals. You'd think again whether you'd wear real armor or lingerie armor.

Yea the gladiatior armor is funny, I'm a powerful warrior and have the most vunlerable part of my anatmoy exposed.

Other countries have the exact opposite, Sex/Sexual = Good -- Violence = Bad

It's not bad as "Mithra" in Final Fantasy XI, there are many many "Pants" jokes due to this..

lol, nice list. Guess that saves me typing here that, as a woman, I happen to enjoy female chars for their curves? I might have more male chars.. if the males looked any good! But, something happened in the design process of the male characters and.. well.. they're not as cute as their female counterparts. Also, their clothing is nowhere near as nice and I like playing dress-up dolls in GW.
